By Car

Visitors may drive from Kuala Lumpur to Gua Musang. They may use the Kuala Lumpur – Gua Musang Expresway. It will take around 3 hours and 51 minutes to complete the drive. The distance is around 253.2 kilometres.

By Train

One can take a train to head to Gua Musang. The train that make their way there is the Keretapi Tanah Melayu. There are several routes that head to Gua Musang. So visitors are able to choose which station to alight from.

Taman Negara

Taman Negara is located in Pahang however Gua Musang is located nearby the northern gateway which is at Sg. Relau near Merapoh in Pahang. There is a small village in Merapoh acts as a pular starting point especially to those who wish to climb up Gunung Tahan. Here visitors will be able to see the biodiversity of the flora and fauna. It is also the home of many endangered species of animals and plants. It is of course highly advisable to have a local to guide the climb up. That way they will be able to explain and identify each plant along the way. If lucky, they might be able to spot some animals too. Hence having a guide will definitely make the climb more worth it.

Rock Climbing

In Gua Musang, there are many limestone hills and also caves. Therefore it is suitable for rock climbers to try the route here. The area is bolted with 30 routes from 5b to 7a. However the climbers will need to bring their own equipment as there are no equipment hire in town.
