Econsave Kota Masai is a hypermarket complex located at Jalan Rusa off Jalan Persiaran Scientex which is about thirty-five minutes away from the town centre and district of Johor Bahru. Being the first museum of its kind to present the history of kites, the Kite Museum of Pasir Gudang is located at Jalan Pekeliling, Pasir Gudang Industrial Area which is ten minutes away from the landmark. It is open to the public since 2002 during the 7th International Pasir Gudang International Kite Festival which is held annually. A story building featuring all things kite especially the ones using during the Kite Festival, in which the exhibitions are done in the form of putting various types of kites and posters into the display. What makes this museum different is that it has its own functional windmill station that acts to generate electricity that is enough to power the whole museum. The museum is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm while fees are charged at two ringgit for adults and one ringgit for children. Foreigners are charged three ringgit per head.
