Jerantut is mostly known by Malaysians as the gate to the National Park. It is one of the districts in Pahang, Malaysia situated at the northern-eastern of Pahang. As Pahang is known as the largest state in Malaysia, Jerantut is the border between the East states such as Terengganu and Kelantan.

By Car

If you are travelling from Kuala Lumpur, you can head to Jerantut by driving through the Karak Expressway. Take exit towards Temerloh and continue the journey to Jerantut town. The journey is estimated to be 2 hours and 19 minutes only.

You can take bus to Jerantut from Kuala Lumpur by the local bus company such as SE Bus Express. The route would be the same as driving a car, which is through the Karak Expressway with estimated journey time for 2 hours and 19 minutes.

Kota Gelangi Cave

Kota Gelangi is known as an archaeological site which was discovered during 2005. This place is potentially known as the first capital of one of the oldest kingdoms in Southeast Asia, the Srivijaya Empire. This place is only 20km away from Jerantut town, which is only 30 minutes away. You can do activities such as Cave Tour which has 2 different levels; Easy and Adventure.
