Sungai Klah Hot Spring Park is situated 10 kilometers from the town of Sungkai in Perak. The park took RM6 million to complete and was officially opened to the public in December 2003. The park is also well known by the visitors for being the best managed hot spring in Malaysia and is situated 200 feet above the sea level right at the foothill of the Titiwangsa Range. The park is managed by Felda and forms the main attraction for resort guests staying in Felda Residence Hot Springs and open to the public as well. Those with stiff muscles, stiff joints, rheumatism, spinal injuries, insomnia and skin related problems should consider soaking themselves here. Visitors also will enjoy the egg-boiling activity at this place. The water temperature at this area can go up to 100 °C and baskets are provided for those who want to enjoy this activity.
Sungai Klah Hot Spring Park nearest airport is Sultan Azlan Shah Airport, Ipoh. Once you reach airport you need to get a taxi to Sungai Klah Hot Spring Park where the journey takes 1 hour and 7 minutes.
To get to Sungai Klah, if you are coming from the North or South of Peninsular Malaysia, you will need to get on the PLUS Highway and head towards Sungkai exit toll. Upon arrival at the exit, turn left at the junction and travel for a kilometer on trunk road and turn left. From there follow the signage for Sungai Klah Hot Springs Park. The park is just after the Sungai Klah Felda Village.
There are daily buses departing from TBS Kuala Lumpur and stop at Bidor town. From Bidor you may then take a taxi to Sungai Klah Hot Spring Park, Sungkai. It is only 28 minutes away.
KTM ETS Malaysia Railway operates a train from Kuala Lumpur to Sungkai every 4 hours. Tickets cost RM 16 - RM 24 and the journey takes 1 h 31 minutes. From the station you need to get a taxi to Sungai Klah Hot Spring and the journey takes 16 minutes away.
