Penang Heritage Trail

The core historic zone of Penang Heritage Trail extends over 100 hectares and includes 1700 historic buildings. This trail covers many fascinating places and historical building along Armenian Street, Lebuh Cannon, Weld Quay, Lebuh Pantai and Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling. Penang Hill (Bukit Bendera)

Situated at the height of 735 meter above sea level, this place can be reached either by cable car or hiking. If you choose hiking, there are two routes provided; the 3.8 km long route (journey usually takes 2 hour) and the 10.2 km long route (journey usually takes 5 hour). If you plan to takes the cable car, it takes 5 to 7 minutes to reach the top. Be sure to come early especially during public or school holidays. The queue to board the cable car can take you hours! A perfect venue for recreational activities and photography, the hill is also an ideal honeymoon destination due to its beautiful, tranquil and serene setting.
